Introduction
Hey everyone, before I begin I want to apologize for the lack of digital files, it's been crazy at my Mom's work so she's been working really late with the computer every night. I did create some subpar google drawings though! So that's a start. The goal is to create a clock using three different machines. So I will be using the 3D printer, vinyl, and laser cutter. I would be fine using the CNC mill if not for the fact I feel really uncomftorable around that and everyone else will want to use it to. I'm imagining it what this process would be like.... because I'm not actually at school. :(
You also might be asking why I chose these three? This entire semester I have been working so hard to learn these programs, master these machines and now I really want to create something that proves how hard I've worked. It's like a jedi apprentice becoming a jedi knight... it's confirmation of your skills and dedication. It's also a sign that I'm able to move on to greater challenges.

Time Management
MY ENEMY: TIME MANAGEMENT we meet again. I would create the 3D design pretty quickly I imagine if I got to work rightaway. Then It's simply printing four parts using one drive. How long would one part take to create? I'm allowing 30-1 hour of time. I could get one done in class then the second one started right away. During lunch I would come in and start the third one. At the end of the day, the fourth one could be started. So by the next day I already have my 3D parts done. I would take the parts home with me to glue them together using an ahesive I have hear at home which I need to use PPE gear to handle because it's slightly dangerous for your skin. Just take my word, it's dangerous glue. By the next class period I would be spending most of that day creating the clear numbers for my clock. Cool, right? Kinda modern. That same day I would also create the files for my vinyl. I'm creating decals for the back of the numbers, so the decal numbers will have to print the opposite way to go on the back of they plastic numbers correctly. The decals serve as a way so that I can still see the numbers but not loose the clearness of the plastic. The decals would also be put on the hands of the clock. I'm thinking a silver or light gray? It fits the theme of my room. So... already used up two class periods. On the third class period I would print out my decals and cut out the numbers. Place the decals onto the appropiate position, if this takes too long I would've already signed up for contact time that day. Finally, on the fourth class period + contact time I would assemble it all together! So that's the plan.
